It all started back in 2003, with one question –  Why should walls settle for ordinary?

We were a small team then, no fancy titles, just a shared belief that a wall could be more than a background. It could have texture. It could have strength. It could have a presence. So we rolled up our sleeves and got to work, creating products that didn’t just cover walls but brought them to life.

Surya Colours wasn’t built in a boardroom. It grew from job sites, paint stores, and long conversations with painters and builders who knew what worked and what didn’t. We listened. We learned. We improved. Every product we made carried a bit of that journey,  a little grit, a lot of care, and the promise to hold up in the real world.

And over the years? Word spread. Not through ads or noise, but through work that lasted. From textured finishes on villa facades to putty that smoothed out uneven walls in someone’s first home, we became a part of stories, not just surfaces.

Today, we’re still doing what we started, helping people shape the spaces they care about, one honest product at a time. And if that sounds simple, that’s because it is. But it’s also everything.
