TUFIT Delux
Dilution : If required add 1 Lt of water for 20 kg of TUFIT deluxe putty to get the required application consistency.
Precautions : It should not be applied on surface with flowing water. The water leakages should be first stopped with TUFIT water proofing slurry.
Packing : Available in 1kg, 5kg, 10kg & 20kg bucket packing
Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacturing in an un-opened container, kept away from direct sunlight and heat.
Coverage:
- 18-25 sft at < 0.5 mm thickness / kg / 1 coat
- 10-12 sft at < 1 mm thickness / kg / 2 coat
TUFIT deluxe putty is an ultra white washable plaster for interior application. It has superior adhesive strength and durability and increases the life of paints. It gives a smooth and semi-gloss finish. The Deluxe putty acts as a filler and leveller for wall surfaces and enhances the durability.
Surface Preparation:
All the loosely adhering and projecting material from the wall should be removed with the help of wire brush, putty blade or emery stone
Application:
Apply first coat of TUFIT deluxe putty uniformly on cleaned surface with the help of putty blade or trowel. Allow the surface to dry for at least 2-3 hours and then apply 2nd coat of putty if required to match with the adjacent area. Allow it (Touch dry 1-2 hours; hard dry 6-12 hours) to dry completely. If requires the surface should be rubbed with fine water proof emery paper after complete drying of the surface to the required leveling. Remove the dust particles completely from the surface by using soft cloth or soft brush. To avoid patch appearance and seal the porosity of the surface use Protac primer on TUFIT deluxe putty which enhance the coverage, brightness of the finished coat. The surface is now ready for painting.
